Thirty-nine Filipinos are flying to Europe to pursue higher education studies under the European Union’s Erasmus + Programme.

The EU Ambassador to the Philippines Franz Jessen is hopeful that the Filipino scholars can help strengthen relations between the European Union and the Philippines, reported PNA.

The applicants will fly in August to September, to get their Master’s and Doctorate degrees in different universities.

The Erasmus+ will sponsor the students in more than one EU country for one to two years to allow them to benefit from the academe and culture of the EU. The scholarship will cover airfare, tuition fees and monthly living allowance.
