Sheikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa showed her skills when she flew solo in a Bae Hawk, a British single-engine advanced aircraft.
The Bahraini royal graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, a prestigious British training ground for military leaders.
Bahraini HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa described the inaugural flight as a “unique event and a remarkable accomplishment”, Vogue magazine quoted Bahrain News Agency as saying.
Sheikha Aisha holds the rank of pilot officer in the Royal Bahraini Air force.
