A road accident took the lives of two Filipinos and left three others injured in Jizan, Saudi Arabia last June 14.
According to a report by ABS-CBN, the victims were on their way to a shopping mall for the Eid’l Fitr celebration when the accident happened.
The van that collided with their vehicle was driven by a Saudi national.
Consul General Edgar Badajos of the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah said that the accident is now under investigation.
The consulate has offered help to the victims who were rushed to Sabiyah Hospital.
Badajos added that one of the Filipinos who died has been buried within 24 hours since the accident in Jeddah after receiving authorizations from his family in Maguindanao.
