Abu Dhabi Police reminded motorists to follow traffic rules after a driver beating the red light collided with another vehicle.
In a video posted on Facebook, an SUV made an illegal left turn in an intersection while beating the red light which lead to a collision with another running vehicle on the other side of the road.
Luckily, other vehicles nearby were able to avoid the collision and no other vehicles were affected.
The authorities reminded motorists to take caution while driving and to strictly follow traffic rules to avoid similar accidents in the future.
They also asked the public for suggestions on how to enhance traffic safety in the emirate.
