Mum, 3 children rescued from crushed car, following two-car collision

Ajman Civil Defense rescued a family of four who were trapped in a car after their car collided with another vehicle yesterday, June 12.

The mother and her three children sustained injuries from the accident that happened behind the GMC hospital in the Naeemiyah area.

Lt. Colonel Raeed Obaid Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Defense in Ajman, said an emergency rescue team was immediately dispatched to the site after receiving a call.

Al Zaabi said that civil defense teams managed to pry the door open to rescue the woman and her children.

They were then taken to the hospital for treatment.

The officer reminded motorists to pay attention while behind the wheel.

دفاع مدني عجمان ينقذ سيدة مواطنة و 3 من أبناءها في حادث تصادم أصيبت سيدة مواطنة و ثلاث من أبنائها إصابات تراوحت بين الخفيفة والمتوسطة عصر أمس جراء وقوع حادث تصادم بين مركبتين خلف مستشفى جي أم سي في منطقة النعيمية. وأفاد المقدم رائد عبيد الزعابي نائب مدير إدارة المراكز في الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني عجمان، أن منصة الدفاع المدني بشرطة عجمان تلقت بلاغاً يفيد بوجود أشخاص محصورين جراء حادث التصادم الذي وقع في منطقة النعيمية، وعلى ضوء البلاغ هرعت مركبات الدفاع المدني والتدخل السريع والإسعاف الوطني إلى مكان الحادث. وأشار الزعابي إن فرق الدفاع المدني تمكنت من إنقاذ السيدة المواطنة و3 من أبناءها كانوا محصورين داخل المركبة ، وذلك باستخدام أدوات ومعدات الإنقاذ، ومن ثم تم نقلهم إلى المستشفى بواسطة مركبة الإسعاف الوطني لتلقي العلاج اللازم. وناشد الزعابي السائقين بعد السرعة والانتباه أثناء القيادة وعدم الانشغال بغير الطريق.
