by | News

DUBAI: Filipinos looking for jobs in the UAE are expected to take advantage of this year’s Philippine Independence Day celebrations of which among highlights is a daylong jib fair where they can get a chance to be hired on the spot.

The job fair will be held in same venue at Dubai World Trade Center, June 15 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

At FilCom’s (Filipino Community) PID 2018 Job Fair, dozens of employers will be present, on the look-out for Pinoys with special skills fitting in to the competitive requirements of their businesses.

With tough competition on the job market, opportunities are getting harder to come by, which is why FILCOM decided to use the event to open a job fair.

Meantime, Filipino nurses planning to work in the United States could have the event cut out for them as it likewise opens opportunity for NCLEX certified nurses to finally work in the U.S. There will be a procedure whereby candidates would meet with PassportUSA’s recruiting manager, and be interviewed on the spot.

According to PassportUSA, around 850 registered nurses have already fulfilled their dream of living and working in America.

PIDC 2018 is a whole day FREE-ADMISSION event spearheaded by the FILCOM in Dubai. The event is set to start with an early motorcade from the Philippine Consulate Office grounds to the venue. The Philippines Concert King, Martin Nievera and actress Arci Munoz will headline the celebration with tons of events such as art exhibits, talent shows, a beauty pageant and more for Filipinos to enjoy.
