Authorities nabbed a former overseas Filipino worker (OFW) after she was found using illegal drugs in front of her 11-month-old child in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

In a surveillance video released by authorities, former OFW Marissa Cordoviz, 41, was caught using illegal drugs while her young child is in front of her, reported GMA News.

Authorities were able to recover sachets of shabu and several drug paraphernalia.

Rosa Police Chief Eugene Orate said.

Cordoviz admitted that it was a mistake to use drugs in front of her child. She cited marital problems as the reason for using drugs.

Napadala lang ako,” the former OFW said.

Meanwhile, the 11-month-old baby was transferred to the social welfare department of Sta. Rosa, Laguna and will undergo clinical observation.
