Madame Yoko-Ramos Vingno, spouse of the Philippine Ambassador and head of the Philippine Ladies Circle, led the graduation ceremony of the 15 wards who all passed their Sewing and Fashion Designing course. Together with her are Labor Attaché Atty. Ophelia Almenario, Assistant Labor Attaches Jay Jasper Javines and Jesus Vicente Magsaysay, Welfare Officers Marites Ramos and Ron Lionel Bartolome and SSS Foreign Representative Lydia Cabagnot, who also donated the sewing machines which were awarded to the wards.
Ramos-Vingno congratulated all graduates and was optimistic that the wards who have graduated can start anew when they get home. “With the skills that you have learned, pwede na kayong magsimula ng inyong kabuhayan paguwi ninyo sa Pilipinas,” said Ramos-Vingno.
In attendance as well were the instructors: TFT Fashion Designer of the Year 2017 Aldwin Jlo Ornopia and Bella Donna fashion house COO Jose Allen Villena as well as Philippine Ladies Circle member Jacqueline Awal.
