The spirit of Ramadan is well-felt in the UAE. Since the start of the Holy Month on May 17, acts of kindness and warmth have made headlines.
Just recently, news of volunteers giving out Iftar meals on the streets to their Muslim brothers and sisters showed the world how the Ramadan season is being celebrated in the Gulf State.
Aside from volunteers and organizations who put premium on making the season of Ramadan felt, UAE Rulers are also going out of their way to spread warm vibes during this month-long period of spiritual reflection.
In the official Instagram account, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, uploaded a photo of his father, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
In the photo, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid showed that the spirit imbibed by the holy season is made felt in his home.
In another photo, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan depicted how he celebrates Ramadan.
Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a large number of Sheikhs, top government officials and citizens on May 22, Tuesday, on the occasion of Ramadan.
The attendees included Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; and H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
