RTA launches first 24/7 smart customer service facility in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently rolled out an initiative that will provide customer service to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, said in a press release that the agency has launched the 24/7 Smart Customers Service Center, the first of its kind in Dubai.

“The RTA has a firm commitment to improving services, simplifying procedures and saving transaction processing time to bring it at par with the top international practices,” Al Tayer said.

Al Tayer added that the Center is placed within the Umm Al Ramool Customers Happiness Center.

The unmanned center has two self-service machines called Smart Kiosks. These machines help assist in the licensing processes of drivers and vehicles.

Aside from this, the customer service facility also has an automated teller machine and computers that the public can use to submit their transactions to the RTA.
