Pinoy driver stabbed 5 times, found dead in Saudi

A 53-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was found dead with five stab wounds inside an abandoned vehicle on Monday, April 30, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah reported.

Consul General Edgar Badajos identified the victim as Nasser Musa, who worked as a merchandiser driver.

“Agad tayo nagpadala ng tao, nakita nga ‘yung kaniyang bangkay sa loob ng isang van at kinordon off ng pulis ‘yung area kasi nga crime scene ‘yun pero ayon sa nakita nilang observation, may sugat sa batok at nakayuko sa may manibela ng kaniyang sasakyan,” Badajos said.

Badajos added that the suspect, a foreign national, is now in police custody.

The victim’s remains is at the Al Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah.

The consulate also maintained that they are now in close coordination with Saudi authorities to ensure that justice will be served.

Assistance will likewise be extended to the victim’s family.

The incident comes after the reported death of an overseas Filipino domestic worker who died after falling from the sixth floor of her employer’s apartment.
