The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday, April 18, that smart devices with artificial intelligence (AI) features have been launched to monitor paid parking zones in Dubai.
The AI device will be attached on top of a vehicle driven by an inspector to monitor parking payments.
The introduction of the device is seen to to lessen errors in filing offences on parking fees.
“The move is part of the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and RTA’s endeavours to use the latest and smartest technologies in dealing with parking users,” RTA said.
