Dubai policeman saves kid trapped in mom’s car

A Dubai policeman saved a little girl from suffocation after being locked inside a car at Global Village’s parking lot.

The policeman, Lieutenant Jassem Mohammed Abdullah, rushed to the scene after seeing a mother frantically screaming for help after her daughter was locked inside their car.

The mother attempted to open the vehicle multiple times, to no avail. The officer then broke the window to rescue the child from dying of suffocation.

The report did not mention how long the child has been trapped inside the vehicle.

Brigadier Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency, honored Abdullah for his courage, wisdom, and speed in giving response to the scene.

“A security officer must have the ability to make the right decision in critical cases that do not wait,” Al Ghaithi said.

“This is what Dubai Police’s command instills in the hearts of its staff,” he stressed.
