Themed: “Filipino Family: Unity in Diversity, Building One Stronger Community,” The Bayanihan Council recently celebrated its Family Fun Day 2018 at Khalidiyah Park in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by the Philippine Embassy team as well as representatives from over 20 Filipino organizations in Abu Dhabi for what was over 500 people in attendance. The day started with a parade of all of the organizations, led by a Sinulog parade troupe. There was a booth making contest as well as various games throughout the day.
Vingno, who graced the event, along with his spouse, Madam Yoko Ramos-Vingno, and their son, Constancio Chase, said it is important to build a strong, healthy, happy, and closely-knit Filipino community. “Let us continue to work together to achieve a common goal, keeping the community spirit of Bayanihan alive,” he said.
This year’s head organizer was the Society of Human Resource Professionals and Associates (SHRPA) in Abu Dhabi, led by Mr. Jay-mar Ismael, Bayanihan Council Treasurer and immediate past president (now Vice President) of SHRPA.
