Stephen Hawking’s best nurse is Filipino

by | News

Stephen Hawking has been surrounded by an entourage of nurses and healthcare professionals, and apparently one of them was a Filipino from Zamboanga City.

Armand Dean Nocum, who introduces himself as a crisis management expert and communication strategist, named the nurse as Dino Illustrisimo in a Linkedin post.

The said Filipino nurse is based in London, who is said to have graduated from Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s nursing school, according to a LinkedIn post of Nocum.

The Filipino, in the post, is said to be Hawking’s “best nurse,” as shown in this computer message:

Illustrisimo first worked at a hospital in London before eventually becoming Hawking’s private nurse, as per Nocum.

Reportedly, he refused to disclose that he was one of the renowned physicist’s nurses.

After news of Hawking’s death made rounds online, Illustrisimo decided to express his sadness over the death of his ward.

“Thank you for everything. Your universe is now complete. RIP boss I will surely miss you. 😘 😪” he reportedly captioned the photo, although it was not disclosed where the Filipino posted his message and photos with Hawking.
