The Philippine embassy will be sending three batches of distressed OFWs home this month, it was learned. Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. together with his spouse, Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, as well as other officers recently held a sendoff ceremony for another batch who were given luggage donated by different Filipino community organizations. Just last month, the embassy managed to repatriate more than 100 OFWs. By the end of these three waves of repatriation – over 500 OFWs would have been sent back home to their families.
