IKEA ‘nap truck’ starts rolling around the UAE today

Sleepy residents and expats in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now squeeze in a 20-minute power nap in the newly-launched mobile bedroom provided by truck as it rolls around Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain everyday starting Thursday, February 22 until March 6, 2018.

The IKEA nap truck initiated by the Swedish furnishing retailer provides visitors a comfortable bedroom to ensure rest and relaxation would be achieved.

A recent survey conducted by IKEA revealed that one in three UAE residents do not achieve the standard eight-hour of sleep, and if they could, they would reclaim an equivalent of two and a half weeks’ worth of sleep, according to Ahlan!.

From 10 AM to 10 PM everyday, sleepy residents can experience the nap truck in the following locations:

– Dubai: Media City, Barsha, DIFC, Trade Centre, Barsha Heights, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Marina, Mamzar, Deira, Qusais, International City, Business Bay, Al Quoz, Downtown, JLT, JBR, Jumeirah Road, Greens, Sports City, and many more.

– Abu Dhabi: Khalifa City, Shamkha, Defense Road, Aiport Road, Hamdan Street, Corniche, Emirate Palace, Etihad, Sea Palace, Qasr Al Hosn, Khalifa Highway, Al Reem/Saadiyat Island, and many more.

– Al Ain: Zakher, Al Yahar, Al Qatara, Downtown, Safeer Mall Massudi, Al Grayyeh, Castle Park, Jimi, Mazed, Central District, Maqam, Souq Area, Ain Al Fayda Complex, Hili, Al Ain University of Science and Technology and, many more.
