More than 1,000 jobs await Filipinos in Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Germany

More than 1,000 job opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and Germany are available for Filipino workers under a government-to-government program.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health needs five hundred (500) female specialist nurses for neonatal intensive care units (ICU), coronary care units, ICUs, nurseries, emergency rooms and surgical wards, and others, reported The Manila Times.

The Arab country is also accepting Filipino applicants for electrocardiography and laboratory technicians.

Taiwan’s I-Mei Foods Co Ltd. is looking to hire 80 Filipino workers to fill in the following job positions for male applicants: technicians, refrigeration and air-conditioning maintenance workers, general technicians, masons; for both male and female: bakers and staff canteen cooks, food analysis inspector, and machine operators-food processing.

Two companies in Taiwan namely Formosa Taffeta Co. Ltd. and NXP Semicondoctors Taiwan Ltd., need a total of 25 female machine operators.

Several other firms in Taiwan are also in urgent need of factory workers while Germany is opening its doors to Filipino nurses.

Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Administrator Bernard Olalia advised qualified applicants to register online at the agency’s website at www.poea.gov.ph or www.eregister.poea.gov.ph.
