A 37-year-old Filipina in Dubai (name withheld) alleged that she was sexually harassed by a hotel manager at a hotel on December 12, 2017.
In the Court of First Instance, the complainant said she returned to the meeting room when the staff conference was over to show to the 50-year old hotel manager the formal staff costume, reported Khaleej Times.
As she was about to leave, she said, the Sri Lankan man suddenly approached her, placed his hand on her back and groped her twice.
She fled the room and immediately filed a complaint at Al Barsha Police Station.
The man denied accusations charged against him.
The next ruling will be on January 29.
