In the defense to fight vitamin D deficiency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), manufacturer Agthia Group launched the world’s first ‘Vitamin D’ bottled water in the International Water Summit on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Priced at Dh2 (P27 approx.), the 500 ml orange-colored bottle of Al Ain is safe for children and adults’ daily consumption for it is free from any flavor, color, and preservative, reported Gulf News.
The water bottles are available at supermarkets, convenience and large retail stores nationwide.
The product is an initial step to reduce the 78 percent of residents suffering from vitamin D deficiency in the UAE.
