For all Filipino fans of the steamy film Fifty Shades of Grey, here’s another reason to get excited in the upcoming and final sequel of the film.
The wedding gown that Anastasia Steele will wear on her big day is made by a Filipina designer who is internationally recognized as one of America’s foremost designers, Monique Lhuillier.
Lhuillier posted a photo of Anastasia wearing the gown while kissing the man of her dreams, Christian Gray. She captioned, “The climactic final chapter begins Valentine’s Day. Can’t wait to unveil the dress!”.
One of the posters made to promote the film also features the future Mrs. Grey wearing the long, white, full-laced, and off shoulder elegant gown.
This is not the first time our Fifty Shades of Grey protagonist wore a gown from the Pinay designer. In the second part of the sequel, Anastasia wore a slinky dress in silver satin, paired with an ostrich feather capelet.
