An 8-year-old Asian kid’s body was found dead in a sack by passers-by on Monday evening, January 8, 2018, on the outskirts of Bhopal, India.
The kid was said to have stolen the money of his tutor named Bittu. This made the latter a primary suspect in the murder case.
The police arrested the 19-year-old Bittu who allegedly strangled the boy to death, Bhopal Deputy Inspector General of Police Santosh Singh told IANS.
Police said a man resembling the suspect was seen carrying a sack on his motorcycle in a CCTV footage.
Kanak, the victim’s younger sister who goes to the same school with him, told her mother that her brother was last seen with Bittu.
The victim’s mother immediately reported it to police that his son did not return home after school on Monday.
