70 percent of Filipino citizens think that President Rodrigo Duterte is a better leader of the country compared to former president Benigno Aquino III, reported Social Weather System (SWS).
In the survey conducted by the agency, Filipinos were asked who they think were the better president between Duterte and Aquino.
Duterte garnered 63% approval from respondents in Luzon, 64% percent in Visayas, 86% in Mindanao, and 73% from Metro Manila, giving him a 70% total.
Aquino, on the other hand, received 3% positive feedback from Mindanao, both 9% from Luzon and Visayas, and 10% from Metro Manila, resulting an 8% overall total.
The result of Duterte’s score is about eight times higher than Aquino’s.
Aquino’s term started July 2010 and ended July 2016 when Duterte got elected and assumed the presidential seat.
