A 28-year-old aircraft cleaner may land in trouble after posting photos on Facebook from a stolen a memory card.
Authorities said that the accused found the smartphone while on duty cleaning an aircraft. But before handing it over to the lost and found, he took its memory card first before reporting it to his senior.
The Pakistani cleaner browsed what’s inside the memory card of the smartphone owned by an American woman, reported Khaleej Times.
In a bid to attract more followers on Facebook, the accused allegedly posted photos retrieve from the card.
Three weeks later, said the report, the American woman was alerted that her pictures were being used online.
She then immediately coordinated with the Dubai Airport police regarding the unauthorized use of her photos.
The accused was produced in court and the ruling is set on January 18.
