MAX’S WINS AT WHAT’S ON

The Max’s Team

Max’s Restaurant won the Favorite Pan Asian Restaurant (Below 400 AED) recently at the popular What’s On Awards in Dubai. Facing some stiff competition, the popular Filipino restaurant also took home the same award at the What’s On Abu Dhabi Awards last month.

What’s On, the “go to” entertainment guide in the UAE, holds these annual award ceremonies to celebrate the UAE’s hospitality, entertainment and leisure industry. What sets the awards apart are down to the people who vote – the What’s On Awards are, and will remain, the people’s choice awards as guest voting determines the final winners, making them highly coveted.

According to the What’s On team, the huge Filipino community in Dubai and Abu Dhabi voted in their thousands for Max’s, highlighting the warm and friendly service and the signature Pinoy cuisine when asked what truly set Max’s apart from the competition.

Over 1000 guests celebrated at this year’s award ceremonies and attendees included famous chefs, food connoisseurs from around the city, entrepreneurs and various members of the hospitality industry from some of the UAE’s leading hotels.

These accolades come at an interesting time as Max’s only last week unveiled lighter and fresher look of Max’s Restaurant.

From the casual service style to the cool new uniforms and the fabulous new interiors, the new look and feel was appreciated by the special guests who indulged in signature dishes such as Max’s Fried Chicken and Kare Kare as well as specialties like Adobo, Inihaw na Salmon and Pinoy styled BBQ Chicken.

Max’s regulars can also look forward to BBQ nights and Filipino Feast Specials in the coming months, new additions to the menu that are certain to enhance the guest experience.

“When we won in Abu Dhabi we were over the moon but to win the same award in Dubai too is just so special. Truly a testament to the hard work and dedication shown daily by each member of the Max’s team,” said Rakshak Puri, General Manager, Max’s Restaurant Middle East.

“We are so proud of what we have achieved so far and how well-entrenched we are within the Filipino community in the UAE. They made this happen and for that we are truly grateful,” he added.
