Here’s why Arab League holds emergency meeting

WAM: The foreign ministers of the Arab League hold an emergency meeting in Cairo on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Djibouti’s Foreign Minister Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, and at the request of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was supported by the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait to discuss the Iranian interference in Arab countries’ affairs.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the ministerial meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on intervention in the Arab internal affairs, which includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
