Sheraa, Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre, will launch its first entrepreneurship festival on Nov. 21 to 22 at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club to provide a learning experience for budding entrepreneurs.
“Launching the inaugural edition of the festival is just one of the many ways Sharjah’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is coming together to fuel not just established start-ups but also aspiring entrepreneurs,” Sheraa General Manager Najla Al-Midfa said.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival will feature stage talks and panels seeing 66 leaders and entrepreneurs, such as Emaar Properties Chairman Mohamed Alabbar, as its speakers.
It will also have workshop sessions for attendees and musical performances.
Around 60 startup companies may present their services in front of industry experts and may even win Dh150,000 and a mentorship session should they join the pitching competition in one of the festival’s activities, Startup Town.
