Thousands to flock to PPIE 2017 on Sept. 22-23

Thousands of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are seen to flock to PPIE 2017 for a chance to educate themselves about the real property industry in the Philippines and on how to properly make investments.

The event will be held amid a backdrop of a robust Philippine economy promising high yields in real property investments

Buoyed by rapidly rising international interest in investments in the Philippines, the annual Philippine Property and Investment Exhibition (PPIE) will host its largest ever edition as it opens on September 22-23 at JW Marriot Hotel.

The longest running and the most trusted Philippine economic and investment forum in the UAE will offer a diverse range of investment options in real estate along with expert guidance and assistance for funding, catering to the strong interest among OFs as well as investors from other countries.

This year’s PPIE, the fifth edition so far, also has a stellar line-up of top officials, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and experts including Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno Jr., who will deliver opening remarks, Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes who will talk about Philippine economy and tourism and  Commercial Attaché  Eric Elnar, who will share insights on foreign investments boosting the Philippine real estate industry.

During the show, Jaime Ysmael, Chief Executive Officer and President at Ortigas & Co., will talk about Philippine Economic Outlook; Thomas Mirasol, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Ortigas & Co., who has been a pioneer in promoting the Philippines as a preferred investment destination and spearheaded expansion of the country’s real estate presence around the world, will also be among key resource persons.

The previous editions of PPIE made a history in the UAE and in the region by bringing in more than 11,500 quality visitors.  The maiden event in 2014 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers witnessed 23 of the country’s leading property developers, banks and government-backed financial institutions taking part and showcasing projects worth AED 2.5 billion (PHP 30 million/USD 700,000).
