A former pastor in Taytay, Rizal was accused of sexually molesting his own four-year-old granddaughter.
According to the aunt of the victim (name withheld), her drunken father suddenly took the child to a room and locked the door for three hours on the night of September 5.
She said they thought their father was just playing with her, and never did they imagine that he could do the crime to the child.
The child was only able to communicate about the incident two days after it happened, saying she was scared to tell anyone about it.
The aunt said she noticed there was something wrong with her niece because the child didn’t want to be left in the house alone.
They also noticed that the child limped and lost her appetite.
When asked what happened to her, the child told her aunt that she was indeed abused by her grandfather—even inserted a scissor in her genital.
The child is currently under the welfare of Women and Children Protection Desk in Taytay Police Station. She will also undergo medico legal.
The grandfather will face rape charges for the incident. (Source Radyo Inquirer)
