Baby girl, Eid Al Adha 2017 first baby

Al Maha Luai Al Saadi, a baby girl, marks the first baby born on UAE’s Eid Al Adha 2017.

The Emirati couple, Basma Abbas Al Khafaji and Luai Khaled Al Saadi, gave birth to a 3,550 gram baby at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

They have been married for 3 years and Luai Khaled Al Saadi told The Khaleej Times how happy they are about delivering their first born child on festive occasion.

“The medical and nursing staff at Burjeel Hospital has been fantastic, and we would like to thank them for safely delivering our precious gift,” he added.

A number of babies were born during the Eid Al Adha holiday including the twins Ahmed and Mahmoud Abdel Qader Darwish who saw the world on Arafat Day as well as the other 4 newborns on the first few hours of Eid.

Flowers and gift are given to all patients and children staying in the hospital during Eid Al Adha.
