Using the idea of tokhang operations, Jorick Jugado proposed in an unconventional way to his girlfriend, Jasmine Ferreras.
Jugado was asked by the police officers to kneel down. But her girlfriend intervened.
Voice shaking, Ferreras asked for and opened the warrant of arrest given by a police officer.
Only to find out that the document says, “Will you marry me?”
After saying yes, Ferreras uploaded a picture of her engagement ring on her Facebook account saying, “Isa ka sa pinaka magandang regalong natanggap ko sa buong buhay ko.”

Ferreras also uploaded a video of the proposal narrating how nervous she was as things happened.
She added that she couldn’t move her feet when the police officer came to arrest her boyfriend, now fiance.
Jugado’s high school batchmate, now a police officer, Ronnie Candelaria, and his neighbors acted as his “accomplices” during the proposal.
