Japanese Kuya selling rice omelette goes viral

A Japanese college student has captured the attention of social media users after photos of him selling rice omelette or omurice in the streets of Manila goes viral.

Known as Kuya Omu-rice, the 23-year old Japanese brings his home-cooked omelets to different locations announced everyday through his Facebook page.

“Hi! I am Kuya, Omurice cooker, selling Japanese Omurice Roll on the street all over Manila. I wanna let you know how good Omurice is and believe Omurice can change the world,” his Facebook introduction read.

Kuya Omurice, whose real name is actually Kuya Sawa, has been to North Avenue MRT Station and Aurora Boulevard, Cubao to sell omu-rice to waiting customers.

Kuya Sawa’s Facebook page has 85,000 followers as of Wednesday.

The third year socio-political student wants to help street children in Manila through earnings from selling omu-rice.
