Dubai gold further slips; prices below Dh148

by

The price of gold in the so-called “City of Gold” is not getting any higher.

As of 10:09 in the morning, the price of Dubai gold continues to fall, with the 24-carat gold hitting Dh147.75 mark, a drop from yesterday’s Dh148, latest statistics from Gulf News showed.

The price of a 22-carat gold also declined from Dh139 to Dh138.75.

The Filipino Times earlier reported that the continuous decrease could encourage Dubai locals and expatriates to invest in the industry.

Gulf News said the price of gold in Dubai mirrors the cost of gold in all emirates, but buyers should also compare rate per gram.
