The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority eyes 4.9 million guest arrivals in 2017, banking on the emirate’s 10 percent year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, travel and hotel data organization Olery has named Abu Dhabi as the top destination in the UAE, recording an 82.8-percent Guest Experience Index, up from the 82.2 rating in 2016.

Abu Dhabi hits 88.6 remark for its location excellence, up from last year’s 87.9, while the emirate’s cleanliness was rated 91 out of 100.

The Olery report, titled “Guest Experience in the Middle East,” reflects travelers’ satisfaction with their stay in the region and was based on over 2.5 million online hotel reviews from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.

WAM said Abu Dhabi has welcomed 4.4 million guest arrivals in 2016, up by eight percent from 2015 statistics
