Woman rescued in a narrow manhole in Dubai

The General Department of Transport and Rescue of the Dubai Police carried out a rescue operation to pull out an Asian girl who fell in a narrow manhole in her accommodation building.

They used a stretcher to remove the woman to an elevated area, reported the KhaleejTimes Times.

The Dubai Police’s Search and Rescue Department said that the Command and Control room received a report on the incident on Friday morning at 4:00 am.

The rescue team, under the supervision of Lieutenant Ya’qub Ishaq Al Balushir, rushed to the site to rescue the woman.

The team worked hard in trying to help the 32-year-old woman regain consciousness, assuring her that she will be fine. Although, the cause of the accident wasn’t clear as yet.

The woman’s back and leg were seriously injured so the rescuers carefully lifted her out from the manhole, using ropes, and was given first aid.
