Duterte to witness the signing of 3 bilateral agreements in Thailand

After the successful Myanmar official visit, President Rodrigo Duterte was accorded honors and an official welcome in Thailand as his three-day official visit formally started on Tuesday afternoon.

Duterte, together with his Cabinet members, arrived at 5:30 in the afternoon at the Thailand Government House and was welcomed by Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, local news said.

After the welcome ceremony, the President and the Thai Prime Minister went to Thai Koo Fah Building for the signing of the guest book. They will hold a bilateral meeting where the two are expected to discuss issues of mutual concerns in politics, economy, agriculture, energy, education, and defense cooperation, as reported by Inquirer.

During his official visit in Thailand, Duterte is expected to witness the signing of three bilateral agreements on science and technology, tourism and agriculture.-KCO
