Here are the top paying jobs for fresh graduates in PH

In the past years information technology (IT) industries offer the highest paying job for fresh graduates with a minimum pay of P22,567 on average.

However, the IT sector was overtaken by other industries because employers are now putting more premiums in other fields.

“What I think is happening is that the BPO (business process outsourcing) industry is putting more premium on people who have specialization or talents in journalism, healthcare, and law,” Philip A. Giocan of JobStreet Philippines Country Manager said.

“Marami na kasi sila. So, marami na tayong call center agents, marami na tayong telesales tsaka telemarketing,” local media quoted him as saying.

Jobstreet said fresh graduates who entered the law and legal services industry were paid the highest amount, with an average monthly salary of P27,124 in 2016.

These industries are followed by the healthcare industry, P23,216; the journalism field, P21,777; and IT industry, P21,703.

Also among top paying sectors are education, P21,457; actuarial science and statistics, P21,048; and training and development, P20,838.

Completing the top ten are banking and financial services, P20,092; public relations and communications, P20,055; and advertising and media planning P19,960. —KCO
