The Philippine President recently revealed that if whistleblower Sanda Cam ever came to him asking for a position in his government, he will give one to her.
“If she asks for the work, I’ll give her the work,” Duterte told a handful of reporters who were able to catch up with him while he attended the inauguration of the People’s Television Network’s Cordillera hub last Saturday.
Cam is an avid supporter of the 71-year-old president and Duterte cited Cam’s contributions during his campaign efforts the last election calling it “utang na loob.” “Yung pagtulong naman niya, she came out really. Sabi niya magtulong siya sa kampanya and she did campaign so yan ang promise ko sa kanya,” the President said.
When asked for the position that would likely land on Cam’s lap? Duterte revealed that there is nothing specific yet given that all his Cabinet posts are currently filled.
