A fire, which had hit a warehouse in Sharjah Airport Free Zone on Sunday night, has been contained.
Sharjah Civil Defense fire fighters managed to contain the blazes that had erupted in a warehouse in Sharjah Free Zone at around 7:30 pm, reported Khaleej Times.
No casualties have been reported in the incident, Col. Sami Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence, reportedly said.
The warehouse belonged to a curtains company, containing inflammable material, the report said.
Five fire stations participated in the operation. A cooling operation in underway before forensic experts begin their investigation in order to determine the cause of the fire.
Earlier on Saturday, the Sharjah Civil Defense put out a huge fire which erupted in a residential building in Al Buhaira area in Sharjah at around 6.30pm, KT reported.
