Sharjah: Motorists in Sharjah will now be able to obtain replacement of their lost driving licenses online.
Motorists have to log on to the Ministry of Interior’s website, www.moi.gov.ae, to obtain their driving license replacement, Gulf News quoted Sharjah Police as saying.
The initiative aims to facilitate services to customers and enable them to complete their transactions through smart applications without approaching the traffic and licensing department, the report said.
“The public can avail of the service at all times regardless of their location or the time of day,” a police official reportedly said
The application can also be downloaded on mobile phones, said the news portal, adding that the traffic department will not receive any request in person from November.
