Man of many Talents

Celso Creer II may be a man of few words, but what he does surprise the world. Creer was one of the big winners at the recently concluded The Filipino Times awards 2016 held at Boracay Night Club, Asiana Hotel on August 20.

He took home not just one but two major awards, Photographer and Architect of the Year titles. “I feel very blessed and honored. To be nominated in these prestigious awards filled my heart with joy.

But winning was a surprise and it left me speechless,” says Creer. Creer is currently working as a senior architect and interior designer at Urban Planning Architecture L.L.C in Abu Dhabi.

He shares that ever since he was in grade school, he has always been artistically inclined. “I still remember the first set of crayons my parents gave me and that encouraged me to draw. At a young age, I was exposed to the beauty of art and since then it has always been a part of me.

It colored my canvas with dreams and aspirations to become an architect,” he says. Some of Creer’s project includes Dubai Stadium, UAE; Mansion Palace in Jeddah, KSA; and Residential Complex in Baghdad, Iraq to mention a few.

With Creer’s passion with the arts and crafts, he has developed a talent and skill that has made him to become a man he is today, award-winning.

Aside from excelling in architecture, Creer has also developed a passion for photography that has gained him praises in the UAE photography scene. “I have been winning awards and recognitions from various competitions in the past years, but nothing beats the awards that came from your own community.

I have always been doing my best in everything I do. I don’t do it for the sake of the award or plaque but being recognized is a great affirmation that I am on the right track. I thank God for giving me this talent and my ability to somehow inspire my fellow Filipinos,” he says.
