48 NBA players test positive for COVID-19 ahead of its new season

The NBA has revealed that 48 players have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The league announced the news ahead of its new season and when players are preparing to come back.

Some 546 players have undergone COVID-19 swab test as part of its “initial return-to-market testing phase,” which kicked off between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30.

Those who tested positive for the virus will be placed in quarantine until they were given clearance by the league.
