Team Philippines managed to score its first win at the 30th Southeast Asian Games for the men and women’s floorball competitions.
The women’s team registered an 8-1 victory over Indonesia in their opening assignment held at the University of the Philippines College of Human Kinetics in Quezon City.
Jade Rivera managed to score five points out of the eight Philippine goals.
The men’s side followed it up with a come-from-behind 5-4 victory also against Indonesia.
