DUBAI: Fresh from their 2-1 victory against Maldives for their second victory in the joint 2022 Fifa World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qualifying in Male last Thursday, the Azkals will be facing Syria tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 6pm at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium here in Dubai.
Syria has been described by the Philippine football team’s Coach Scott Cooper as a formidable force, which was why he said the teams started training soon as they arrived in Dubai over the weekend.
Tickets, which sell at Dh40 each, are available at the stadium gates and as well at Holiday Inn Festival City today from 11am to 10pm.
Stephan Shrocki said this game will be for Overseas Filipino Workers in Dubai and across the region.
Earlier on, the Azkals came off with a goal-less draw against China in Bacolod City.
