An 11-year-old skater from the Philippines won four gold medals in the recently concluded Skate Indonesia Leg of Ice Skating Institute Championship Series held in Jakarta.
Katrina Amber Cruz bested 400 other competitors in other countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, as per a report from Abante.
She won the gold medals in the technical, footwork, solo compulsory and rhythm ball event. She also won a silver medal in the surprise event.
This is not the first time that Cruz gained recognition for the country in the ice skating sport.
In August, she won at the Skate Bangkok. She aims to win big at the Skate Japan next year.
