The Philippine kickboxing team was sent to Cambodia to train as part of preparations for the upcoming SEA Games, according to Sen. Francis Tolentino.
The team will train under coaches Glenn Mondol and Donald Geisler III until November 9.
Tolentino, President of the Samahang Kickboxing ng Pilipinas added that the team has a good chance of winning in the regional games.
“Training in Seam Reap will surely increase our athletes’ endurance and combat skills, and enable them to develop sharper techniques through sparring with more experienced kickboxers ” said Tolentino.
There are 8 Kickboxing events were lined up in the SEA Games at the Cuneta Astrodome.
