The daughter of basketball legend Samboy Lim, Jamie, captured a gold at the 2019 Amatör Spor Haftasi Karate Championship in Turkey.
Lim lead her team Karate Pilipinas in winning eight medals for the country at the Karate tournament.
The team was able to bring home 1 Gold, 3 Silver, 4 Bronze medals finish at the games.
Lim has defeated Turkey’s bet in a decisive 8-0 scorecard to win the championship title in the Senior Female division.
The Karate match was held last October 13.
Lim is also a summa cum laude from the University of the Philippines.
Samboy’s daughter was a national pride in Karate but had to stop for a while to pave way for her studies.
