Senator Manny Pacquiao launched the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League in August 29, 2017. The senator said that the league doesn’t intend to be a competitor to the country’s top professional basketball league- the Philippine Basketball Association. Instead, it highlights talented basketball players from regional, commercial, and barangay-level league teams to have a home locality in addition to a corporate sponsor.

DJMC events, the company that will bring MPBL here in Dubai this coming September, has positioned itself among the top event management companies in the country, with its proven track record of managing concerts, conferences, exhibitions, sporting events, seminars, fashion shows, festivals and more as a full stack event management company that covers everything under one roof.

Tickets to the two-day basketball league will soon be available at www.meraticket.com
