Filipino gaming and cosplay enthusiasts and fans from all over the UAE can soon get to meet Internationally-acclaimed Filipina cosplayer and gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao at the ongoing GIRLGAMER Esports Festival, a four-day Esports and entertainment event that runs until February 22 at Meydan Grandstand.

The biggest esports and entertainment festival in Dubai is the go-to event for gaming, cosplay, concerts, activities, and endless fun for all the family. As the world’s leading event to celebrate and promote women’s competitiveness in esports, the festival will also host the GIRLGAMER World Finals, featuring the best CS:GO and LoL action.

Here are the top events during the four-day convention that you shouldn’t miss.

Cosplay Competition: GIRLGAMER Dubai’s Cosplay Competition, with a prize pool of $5,000 sponsored by Go Gamers, is set to take place on February 21st and 22nd, featuring international cosplay icon Alodia Gosiengfiao, leading local cosplay pioneer Saud Al Hazzani AKA Vega Cosplay, and talented, Middle Eastern, professional cosplayer Sumi Cosplay, as special-guest judges.

Industry Conference: Step up your game and join the two-day GIRLGAMER Industry Conference, from February 19th to 20th, featuring some of the most recognised speakers from the worlds of esports, gaming, media, and entertainment. GIRLGAMER World Finals: Catch the world’s best CS:GO and LoL action over three thrilling days at the GIRLGAMER World Finals, from February 20th to 22nd.

Interschool Esports Tournament: The first event of its kind in the UAE, the Interschool Esports Tournament will take place on February 21st (Qualifiers Stage) and February 22nd (Knockouts and Finals). It is open to boys and girls of all ages, from all schools in Dubai, and will be divided into two categories (Juniors and Seniors), with scholarships totalling AED 255,000 given out to the 1st and 2nd place winners of each tournament.

Meet-&-Greets, Panel Discussions & Guest Speakers: GIRLGAMER will welcome an incredible line-up of special guests, including Illustrator Naruse Chisato, Comic Book Illustrator Des Taylor, Voice Actress Kari Wahlgren, and Illustrator Shimadoriru, who will be meeting, greeting and interacting with fans on February 21st and 22nd.

Education & Careers: GIRLGAMER’s free education and career seminars are must-attend events for anyone looking to pursue careers in esports or video-game-building. Gucci Mane: Global rap superstar Gucci Mane will headline the Main Stage with an unforgettable live performance for the final day of the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival World Finals, on February 22nd.

L.O.L. Surprise! Fun Zone: The world’s largest private toy company, MGA Entertainment, is coming to Dubai for the very first time. Come and hang out at the L.O.L. Surprise! Fun Zone, featuring fashion shows, hair and makeup activities, games, and much more. There’ll even be opportunities to compete in the fashion shows and B.B. Cosplay, for the chance to win amazing prizes.

Dany Neville: Award-winning DJ and Producer Dany Neville, who has performed in the entertainment capitals of the world and collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, will perform live on February 22nd.

Radio & Gaming’s Biggest Names: A bumper day of entertainment on Saturday, February 22nd, will be hosted by an all-star line-up of radio DJs, including Kris Fade, Priti Malik, Big Rossi, and Brent Black, who will also be taking part in fun-filled activities and gaming battles with the hugely popular gamer, TV presenter and voiceover actor Ahmed Al Nasheet a.k.a. DVLZGame.
