Hotels do it by the pool. Park managements put up huge screens and bean bags. Back in the day, it was ladies on roller skates and hot dogs at drive-ins – the latest craze!
A movie house in Switzerland is taking cinemas on to a whole new level: the seats were gone and replace with, yes, double beds for that homey feel.
Cinema Pathé has maximized its service with the launch of “VIP bedroom,” which makes watching films closer to home, Megaphone reported.
Not only does the VIP bedroom cater a snuggly vibe, it also completes the service by offering complimentary snacks and slippers to customers.
The beds come complete with sheets, pillows, and bedside tables. These also have adjustable headrests for guaranteed ease while watching a movie.
According to My Modern Met, Venanzio Di Bacco, CEO of Cinema Pathé explained that they put hygiene as a priority, assuring that the beds are newly-made in between film screenings.
Availing of the VIP package will get the customer a double bed, with snacks and drinks for $48.50 (Dhs178).
The theater house also provides different ranges of VIP rooms depending on customer preference — a cozy living room and another movie room inspired by a children’s playground.
